memory ("the App") is a disposable camera experience that lets you create shared film sessions, capture photos, and reveal them together with friends. By using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service.
By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the App. Continued use of the App after any modifications to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
To use the App, you must sign in using Apple Sign-In. Each person may maintain only one account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must not share your account or allow others to access it on your behalf.
You retain full ownership of the photos you take using the App. By uploading photos, you grant the App a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and deliver your photos to other members of the same film session. This license exists solely to operate and provide the service and terminates when you delete your content or your account.
When using the App, you agree not to:
Film sessions are shared spaces where members capture and reveal photos together. When you create a film, you may invite others to join via invite code, QR code, or AirDrop. Photos taken within a film are visible to all members of that film once the film is developed. Films have a defined expiration period, after which no new photos can be taken. You are responsible for the content you contribute to any film session.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful to other users or the integrity of the service. You may stop using the App at any time by signing out and deleting the App from your device.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE APP'S DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PHOTOS, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
